Meyer Foundation – Youth, Mental Health, and Immigrant Community Grants (Washington, DC, Maryland and Virginia)
The Meyer Foundation administers a number of funding opportunities that cover a variety of topics. For children, youth, and families, the Foundation supports organizations whose mission is to serve youth, and that provide quality in-school or out-of-school-time programs for young people. Organizations working with youth development, early childhood development, parenting skills and child welfare are encouraged to apply. For health and mental health topics, the Foundation supports organizations that advocate for an integrated health system for uninsured and underserved groups. Additionally, the Foundation seeks applicants that provide culturally and linguistically appropriate services in addition to devising strategies to education individuals about improving mental health. Finally, for immigrant communities, the Foundation supports organizations that help advocate for immigrants and refugees and advance access to education and social services.
Eligible applicants include non-profit organizations with tax-exempt status under section 501(c)(3). Also, the Meyer Foundation primarily serves applicants of the Washington, DC region defined as Washington, DC, Maryland and Virginia.
