Afterschool Alliance and MetLife - MetLife Innovator Awards
The Afterschool Alliance and MetLife Foundation are partnering to develop and disseminate a series of issue briefs that address topics related to middle school youth and afterschool programs. The MetLife Innovator Awards will recognize programs that: promote health and wellness for teens and pre-teens; prepare middle school youth for college and careers; merge middle school programs and STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) learning; and/or provide multiple benefits for middle school students.
Each winning program will be recognized in an issue brief and receive $5,000 to continue or improve upon the highlighted program. Programs must be nominated.
