U.S. Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration -- Mental Health Services Block Grant Program
The U.S. Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration’s Community Mental Health Services (CMHS) Block Grant is dedicated to improving mental health service systems across the country. Through the block grant - a joint Federal-State partnership, CMHS supports existing public services and encourages the development of creative and cost-effective systems of community-based care for people with serious mental disorders.
State agencies may apply for funding. Award amounts vary.
