Mental Health Research Grants (Texas)

The Hogg Foundation for Mental Health advances mental wellness for the people of Texas. The primary purpose of the Mental Health Research Grants is to support quality research in mental health and to encourage grant recipients to present their findings to mental health researchers, policy makers, and service providers at state and national conferences and meetings. Examples of winning grantee projects include studies of the mental health of immigrant children serving as interpreters and the effect of academic achievement on high school students.

Multiple grants of up to $17,500 will be awarded to selected applicants. Individuals conducting mental health research at Texas institutions of higher education are eligible to apply.

Deadline: January 12, 2012
