Corporation for National and Community Service - Learn and Service America Youth Engagement Zone
The purpose of the Learn and Service America Youth Engagement Zone is to improve student engagement in academic coursework, including attendance, achievement and graduation rates, through service-learning.
Twelve grants ranging from $300,000 to $450,000 will be awarded. State and local governments, independent school districts, higher education institutions, tribal governments and organizations, and nonprofits are eligible to apply.
Deadline: June 15, 2010
