Corporation for National and Community Service - Learn and Serve America Community-Based Programs
The Corporation for National and Community Service has announced the availability of $4.2 million for organizations to provide subgrants, training, and other assistance to local partnerships implementing community-based service-learning projects. The Corporation supports organizations that increase opportunities for out-of-school time service-learning projects, engage youth, particularly from disadvantaged circumstances, and that develop community partnerships engaged in service-learning initiatives.
Eight eligible applicants will be selected to receive awards ranging from $350,000 to $450,000 annually for up to three years. Eligible applicants include: state governments, public and state controlled institutions of higher education, Native American tribal governments and organizations, Non-profits with 501(c)(3) status (other than institutions of higher education), Non-profits without 501(c)(3) status with the IRS (other than institutions of higher education) and Private institutions of higher education.
