The John S. and James L. Knight Foundation is accepting applications for its Knight News Challenge. The purpose of the program is to support innovative ways to improve the flow of information and news of public interest by using digital technology to improve community news.
Award amounts are up to $5 million. Eligible applicants include nonprofit organizations, for-profit companies, and individuals.
