Yes to Seed Fund and Whole Foods Market

The Yes to Seed fund, a nonprofit program has partnered with Whole Foods Market to offer grants for school gardens. The program is designed to provide students with engaging ways to learn about nutrition and the importance of fruits and vegetables.
Up to five Seed Fund grants of $2,000 will be available to participating Whole Foods regions and five Starter Garden grants of $500 to schools nationwide will be available. Eligibility for five Seed Fund grants includes all K-12 schools located in North California counties including or north of Monterey County, Kings County, Tulare County, and Inyo County as well as Pacific Northwest region schools in Oregon and Washington. All schools in the US are eligible for the additional five Starter Seed Fund Grants. Applying schools should have a pre-existing commitment to gardening and an internal champion for the project.
