Substance Abuse and Mental Health Service Administration, Center for Mental Health Services – Implementing Evidence-based Prevention Practices in Schools
The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Service Administration (SAMHSA), Center for Mental Health Services invites proposals for the Implementing Evidence-based Prevention Practices in Schools program. The purpose of the grant program is to prevent aggressive and disruptive behavior among young children in the short term and to prevent drug use and anti-social behavior in the long term. Grantees will use evidence-based strategies to promote this purpose. The program will promote academic success and behavioral health.
$2 million is available for 20 grants of about $100,000. Eligible organizations include local education agencies in economically disadvantaged communities.
