The purpose of the Humana Communities Benefit Program is to improve health experiences and/or build healthy communities in the areas of childhood health and education, family wellness and active lifestyles, and health literacy for diverse populations and seniors.
One grant of $100,000 in each target area is available. Nonprofits with no political, social, religious, labor or veterans’ affiliation in Phoenix, Chicago, New Orleans, Kansas City, Mo., Cincinnati, Nashville, Tenn., Austin and Houston, Texas are eligible to apply.
Deadline: August 12, 2011
