The goal of the Michael and Susan Dell Foundation is to support and initiate programs that directly serve the needs of children living in urban poverty. The Foundation seeks to fund projects that impact children in five essential areas: education, health, safety, youth development, and early childhood care.

Award amounts vary. Eligible applicants include charitable or tax-exempt organizations.
