National Eye Institute -- Healthy Vision Community Awards Program
The National Eye Institute is accepting applications for the Healthy Vision Community Awards Program. The purpose of the program is to support implementation of health education and promotion activities that align with up to two of the designated Healthy Vision 2010 objectives concerning examination and prevention, eye diseases, injury and safety, and vision rehabilitation, and with the Healthy People 2010 goals to reduce health disparities and improve quality of life.
Award amounts are up to $10,000. Eligible applicants are nonprofit organizations that include, but are not limited to, community-based organizations and groups, minority-based organizations, schools, and state and local health departments.
Deadline: August 31, 2007
