WellPoint Foundation – Healthy Generation Grants
The WellPoint Foundation’s Healthy Generation Program supports organizations and programs that are committed to improving the health of communities. The Foundation has a State Health Index to measure health issues such as childhood obesity. Further, the Foundation favors programs that are designed to produce measurable, long-term impacts in health and that are replicable.
Award amounts vary. Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) organizations operating in any of the following states: California, Colorado, Connecticut, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maine, Missouri, Nevada, New Hampshire, New York, Ohio, Virginia, and Wisconsin.
Deadline: August 19, 2009
