Health Resources and Services Administration -- Maternal and Child Health Research Program
The Health Resources and Services Administration is accepting grant applications for its Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Research Program. The purpose of the program is to support research that focuses on MCH concerns in public health systems and infrastructure, health disparities, quality of care, and health promotion. Priority concerns include oral health, the health of MCH populations on the US-Mexican border, and the use of Health Information Technology.

Award amounts are expected to be about $300,000. Eligible applicants include public or nonprofit institutions of higher learning and public or private nonprofit agencies engaged in research or in programs relating to MCH and/or services for children with special health care needs.

Deadline: September 14, 2007
