Grant Alert Detail

The California HealthCare Foundation works to fulfill the promise of better health care for all Californians and supports projects that are aligned with the objectives of its programs: Better Chronic Disease Care, Innovations for the Underserved, Market and Policy Monitor, and Health Reform and Public Programs Initiative. Funded projects have relevance to California health issues as described in the program descriptions, and generally have implications beyond a single institution. Previous grantees include the Santa Clara Family Health Foundation, Children's Hospice and Palliative Care Coalition, and Kaiser Permanente's Kaiser Cares for Kids Initiative.

Award amounts vary. Both nonprofit and for-profit organizations and companies that meet the criteria for the program are eligible to apply.
