World Hunger Year -- Harry Chapin Self-Reliance Awards

World Hunger Year, in partnership with the Harry Chapin Foundation, is accepting applications for its Harry Chapin Self-Reliance Awards to support replicable, innovative programs fighting domestic hunger and poverty by empowering people and building self-esteem.

Award amounts are $7,000. Eligible applicants are U.S. community-based non-profit 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organizations.

Deadline: June 16, 2008

Please Note: The Center for Health and Health Care in Schools (CHHCS) does not administer this funding opportunity.
