Hadassah Foundation -- Grants for Jewish Adolescent Girls in the U.S. The Hadassah Foundation is accepting applications for its grant program to support leadership/self-esteem projects for adolescent girls in the United States Jewish community. Funded projects will establish a replicable model program that demonstrates gender sensitivity, meets a need, and enables girls to build self-esteem, learn from their peers and adult mentors, be included in the planning and implementation of projects and draw on Jewish traditions and values as vehicles for improving self-esteem. Award amounts are $25,000-$100,000; a typical award is about $30,000-$40,000. Eligible applicants are 501(c)(3) organizations.
