Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota Foundation - Growing up Healthy Program Planning Grants (Minnesota)
The Growing up Healthy Program is a statewide funding program to improve the health of Minnesota children through the social and environmental determinants of health. The program works to engage community health, early childhood development, housing and environmental organizations, and other community partners to support the healthy growth and development of children. Projects should engage communities both at the grassroots and grass tops levels to foster policies systems, norms, and practices that create health-promoting community conditions. The grants awarded in this phase are planning grants. After completing the planning process, organizations can apply for an implementation grant.
Grants of up to $25,000 will be awarded. Eligible organizations include 501(c)(3) nonprofits and units of government in Minnesota.
Deadline: March 31, 2010 (Letters of Inquiry)
