The Achelis Foundation and the Bodman Foundation are separate and independent grantmaking philanthropies. Grants are available for programs in New York City and Newark and Monmouth County in northern New Jersey that support one or more of the following areas: Arts and Culture, Education, Employment, Health, Public Policy, Youth and Families.

Award amounts vary. Nonprofit organizations based in New York City and northern New Jersey that fall within the program areas of the Foundations are eligible to apply.
