California Wellness Foundation - Grant Making for a Healthier California (California)

The mission of the California Wellness Foundation is to improve the health of the people of California by making grants for health promotion, wellness education, and disease prevention. The California Wellness Foundation (CWF) is interested in funding the following health issues: Diversity in the Health Professions, Environmental Health, Healthy Aging, Mental Health, Teenage Pregnancy Prevention, Violence Prevention, Women’s Health, and Work and Health. The Foundation encourages project requests for core operating support.

Award amounts range between $20,000-$300,000. Eligible applicants are non-profit organizations that are exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and that are not private foundations as defined in IRC Section 509(a)(3) Type III non-functionality integrated supporting organizations.
