Goody’s -- Good Deeds for Schools

Goody’s Good Deeds for Schools is designed to help local schools pay for the things they really need, but can not afford through regular education funding. Past awards have provided a new playground and walking trail, videoconferencing equipment to reach out to ill students who are homebound or confined to a hospital, and a mentoring program.

Fifty grants of $10,000 each are available to schools in communities where Goody’s stores are located. Public and private schools serving students between kindergarten and 12th grade are eligible to apply.
 
Deadline: November 1, 2008
