Burton Snowboards and Youth Venture -- Go Overboard Challenge Grant
Burton Snowboards and Youth Venture are co-sponsoring the Go Overboard Challenge Grant to find the best youth-led ideas to change the world, such as saving the environment, ending world hunger, or raising awareness for cancer.
To be considered for a grant, the following requirements must be met: 1) the venture must be youth-created, -led and -managed; 2) ventures must benefit the community; 3) the venture must be structured as a lasting organization like a new school club, business or community organization; 4) ventures must involve a strong team of at least two people; and 5) each venture must have at least one ally–a supportive adult who guides and encourages the team. Up to $1,000 will be awarded to teams with the best Go Overboard ideas.
