Embrace a Healthy Florida Community Engagement Grant (Florida)

The Embrace a Healthy Florida Community Engagement Grant program aims to support local organizations, community coalitions and faith-based organizations that provide community education and outreach on the importance of good nutrition, physical activity and healthy weight for children and their families in Hialeah, Florida. Preference will be given to projects that demonstrate sustainability, engage community members, and collaborate among different organizations.
Multiple awards ranging from $1,000 to $10,000 will be given. Eligible entities include 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations or government entities such as county health departments and public schools. Organizations must be located in Miami-Dade County and programs must be operated in the City of Hialeah and directly serve the residents if Hialeah.
