Youth Service America and Disney – Disney Minnie Grants
Youth Service America and Disney are seeking to fund children’s efforts to improve their communities. The Disney Mini Grants are for youth or the organizations that engage them, to implement youth-led service projects focusing on the following community issues: sustainable community development, poverty, education, hunger, sustainable community development, environment, and disaster prevention and relief. The projects should take place between September and November 2009.
Selected applicants will be awarded $500. Eligible proposals are those that are implemented by children (ages 5 to 14 years), youth (ages 15 to 25 years), or by organizations who engage children as volunteers.
Deadline: June 15, 2009
