LA84 Foundation  – Development of Youth Sports Grants (Southern California counties)

LA84 Foundation offers support to organizations that are providing ongoing, structured youth sports programs that have teaching, learning, and competition components. The Foundation aims to ensure youth sports opportunities are available to the same broad population that contributed to the success of the 1984 Olympic Games. Particular attention will be afforded to applicants serving communities most in need, girls, minorities, physically challenged or developmentally disabled youth, and where delinquency is high.

Grant amounts vary. Eligible applicants include organizations with open, non-restrictive membership and that operate in Southern California. Funding for the development of youth sports is offered throughout the year in line with the different sporting seasons.
