Crime Victims’ Community Awareness Project Submitted: 10/13/2008

National Association of the Victims of Crime Act Assistance Administrators/ U.S. Office for Victims of Crime -- Crime Victims’ Community Awareness Project

The National Association of the Victims of Crime Act Assistance Administrators, through a grant from the Office for Victims of Crime, is offering funding to aid communities in conducting public awareness initiatives during National Crime Victims' Rights Week. Funding possibilities include the purchase of advertising in print media, radio, television, or outdoor advertising to promote National Crime Victims’ Rights Week events, victims' rights, and available services.

Grants of up to $5,000 each will be awarded to 56 communities. Public agencies, nonprofit organizations, community-based victim service organizations, faith-based organizations, tribal organizations, and community coalitions are eligible to apply.

Deadline: November 3, 2008

Please Note: The Center for Health and Health Care in Schools (CHHCS) does not administer this funding opportunity.
