Department of Health and Human Services – Effectiveness, Practice, And Implementation in CMHS’ Comprehensive Community Mental Health Services Program for Children and their Families Service Sites (R01)

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services announces this funding opportunity to analyze the effectives of interventions delivered through the Center for Mental Health Services’ Comprehensive Community Health Services for Children and Their Families Program initiative. The program encourages research on the nature and impact of routine prevention or clinical practices and factors relating to successful implementation of preventive or treatment interventions. Conducting the proposed research at one of the Children’s Services Program sites is a prerequisite for funding.

Because the nature and scope of the proposed research will vary from application to application, it is anticipated that the size and duration of each award will also vary. The total amount awarded and the number of awards will depend on the quality, duration, costs and the number of applications received. Eligible applicants include public/state-controlled institutions of higher education, non-profits with or without 501(c)(3) status, small businesses, for-profit organizations, state governments, Tribal governments and faith-based or community organizations.

Deadline: July 6, 2009

Please Note: The Center for Health and Health Care in Schools (CHHCS) does not administer this funding opportunity.
