The Community Partners program aims to improve the following areas: health, especially on decreasing obesity among Native Hawaiians, self-sufficiency and education. Proposals must show a direct relationship between the proposed project and the desired result, and applicants must be willing to attend a training between June 20 and July 8, 2011.
Awards vary. Eligible applicants include state or non-profit organizations that are exempt from federal income tax, entities that have at least five years of experience with the project, and are licensed as applicable.
