ConAgra Foods Foundation – Community Impact Grants
The ConAgra Foods Foundation seeks sustainable solutions to end child hunger and teach children about nutrition. Strong proposals will come from grassroots organizations that utilize innovation and creativity to address childhood hunger and nutrition needs in communities where ConAgra Foods employees live and work, or states where 20 percent or more of children are food insecure. Organizations and projects that align with the Foundation's giving strategies (direct service, capacity building, and advocacy) have the best chance of receiving a grant.
Grants range between $10,000 and $100,000. Eligible organizations include
501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations. Religious organizations are eligible to apply if their outreach programs are open to the public regardless of religion and have nonprofit status.
Deadline: January 29, 2010
