Robert Wood Johnson Foundation -- Community Health Leadership Program

The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation is accepting nominations for its Community Health Leadership Program. The purpose of this program is to recognize individuals who have overcome adversity to increase access to health care and social services programs to underserved populations in the United States.

Award amounts are $125,000; $20,000 as a personal gift in recognition of the nominee’s accomplishments, and $105,000 towards the leader’s organization. Eligible applicants are consumers, community leaders, health professionals, government officials who are not development and public relation departments, professional grant writers, the nominee, a relative of the nominee, or current or past Community Health Leaders; and who are nominating a “mid-career” professional with between five and fifteen years of community health experience who is not a nationally recognized figure.
