Metro -- Community Enhancement Grants (Portland, Forest Grove, and Oregon City, OR)

Metro’s Community Enhancement Grants are awarded to create changes in the community that also may improve a neighborhood’s image. Projects considered are those that will do one or more of the following: (1) provide programs and training opportunities to benefit youth, (2) increase employment and economic opportunities, (3) rehabilitate and upgrade residential housing, (4) preserve wildlife, marine and recreational areas for public enjoyment, (5) improve public safety, (6) enhance neighborhood appearance or cleanliness, (7) improve viability of commercial areas and enhance the business environment, and (8) create long-term improvements for neighborhood livability.
Award amounts vary. Proposals are accepted from nonprofit organizations with 501(c)3 status serving Portland, Forest Grove, and Oregon City, OR.
