Robert Wood Johnson Foundation -- Clinical Scholars Program

The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation is accepting applications for its Clinical Scholars Program. The purpose of the program is to integrate physician clinical training with training in development and research methods to enable collaboration with communities, organizations, practitioners, and policy-makers for improvement of the U.S. healthcare system for all Americans.

Award amounts are at least $50,000 per year for two years. Eligible applicants are physicians who are committed to a career in academic medicine, health policy or another physician-leader career; are highly regarded by those responsible for their clinical training; intend to complete the clinical requirements of their residency/fellowship training by the date of entry into the program (except for surgeons); do not hold appointments as subspecialty fellows during their tenure in the program; and are citizens or permanent residents of the United States or its territories.
