Chronic Illness Self-Management in Children and Adolescents

The Chronic Illness Self-Management in Children and Adolescents grant program funds research to improve self-management and quality of life in children and adolescents, ages 8-21, with chronic illnesses. Research related to sociocultural, environmental, and behavioral mechanisms that contribute to successful and ongoing self-management of chronic illnesses in children is encouraged.

Awards of up to $50,000 a year, for two years, are available. Eligible organizations include public and private institutions of higher education, nonprofits, for-profit organizations, government agencies at all levels and faith-based or community-based organizations.
