Children’s Health Insurance Program Reauthorization Act Outreach and Enrollment Grants

Department of Health and Human Services’ Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services  - Children’s Health Insurance Program Reauthorization Act Outreach and Enrollment Grants 

The Department of Health and Human Service offers the Children’s Health Insurance Program Reauthorization Act (CHIPRA) Outreach and Enrollment Grants to provide outreach grant money to find and enroll eligible children in the Medicaid and CHIP programs. Particular attention will be given to projects that target eligible but unenrolled children in rural areas or racial and ethnic minorities and populations demonstrating health disparities.

An anticipated 200 grants will be administered at an average of $200,000 each. Eligible applicants include states, local governments, tribal governments, federal health safety net organizations, community-based organizations, faith-based organizations, and elementary or secondary schools.
