National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) -- CHOICES Alcohol Education Grants

In an effort to educate students about the risks involved with the misuse of alcohol, the NCAA has developed CHOICES, a grant program for alcohol education. Through the CHOICES program, the NCAA provides funding to integrate athletics into campus-wide efforts to reduce alcohol abuse. CHOICES projects must partner athletics with other campus activities in the development and implementation of effective alcohol-education projects.

Grant funds to any one program will not exceed $15,000 for the first year, $10,000 for the second year and $5,000 for the final year. Funding is available for NCAA member institutions and conferences.

Deadline: February 16, 2009

Please Note: The Center for Health and Health Care in Schools (CHHCS) does not administer this funding opportunity.
