Baseball Tomorrow Fund

Major League Baseball and the Major League Baseball Players Association -- Baseball Tomorrow Fund

The Baseball Tomorrow Fund is a joint initiative between Major League Baseball and the Major League Baseball Players Association. The mission is to promote and enhance youth participation in baseball and softball. Grants are designed to allow applicants to address the needs unique to their communities. The funds are intended to finance a new program, expand or improve an existing program, undertake a new collaborative effort, or obtain facilities or equipment.

Approximately 40 grants are awarded per year. The average grant amount is $50,000. Non-profit and tax-exempt organizations in both rural and urban communities are eligible to apply.

Deadline: January 1, 2009
