Do Something -- BR!CK Awards

Do Something is accepting applications for its BR!CK Awards program. The purpose of the program is to have a awards competition similar to the Oscars for films, the Olympics for sports, and the Grammys for music, but instead for positive youth world-changers: youth who are making a positive impact on the world through their community efforts.

Awards include nine awards of a minimum of $10,000, one award of a total of $100,000, and a televised award ceremony; winners age 18 or under are eligible for the $10,000 awards to be divided into a $5,000 scholarship and a $5,000 community grant; winners age 19-25 receive the entire award as a community grant. Eligible applicants are permanent residents or citizens of the U.S. or Canada who are age 25 or under.

Deadline: December 31, 2007

Please Note: The Center for Health and Health Care in Schools (CHHCS) does not administer this funding opportunity.
