US Soccer Foundation – Annual Program and Field Grants
The US Soccer Foundation supports projects throughout the US that focus on keeping children in vulnerable communities active, healthy, and safe from the dangers of the streets. The Foundation's focus is on projects and programs that develop players, coaches, and referees in economically disadvantaged urban areas encompassing populations of 50,000 or more. The Foundation is especially interested in organizations that incorporate a youth development element such as anti-violence, anti-drugs, and/or healthy lifestyles into their soccer programs.
Award amounts vary. Applicants must apply on behalf of a program or project operating in the US, and be a nonprofit organization, school, municipality, college or university, public school, or sovereign tribal nation.
Deadline: October 29, 2010
Please Note: The Center for Health and Health Care in School (CHHCS) does not administer this funding opportunity.
