The Southern Minnesota Initiative Foundation works to build a prosperous region with vibrant communities, innovative businesses and a skilled and valued workforce by investing in emerging businesses and the emerging workforce. The purpose of this grant program is to encourage new asset-based approaches on issues within Early Childhood Development with a specific focus on strengthening children's social and emotional health and school readiness.
Award amounts vary. Programs focused on the social and emotional development of young children in the Southern Minnesota AmeriCorps region are eligible to apply.
