Agriculture and Food Research Initiative: Childhood Obesity Prevention

The National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFG) is seeking applications from researchers that NIFG can support with grants for programs in: Integrated Research, Education, Extension Projects and Food and Agricultural Science Enhancement (FASE) that address one of the program area priorities such as food safety, nutrition and health.

Seven grants will be selected to receive from $2,500,000 to $8,600,000.
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must be employed at a nonprofit institution, private institutions, individuals, for profit institutions, public and state controlled institutions of higher education, Native American tribal organizations, and small business.

Deadline: May 18, 2011
