Health Resources & Services Administration – Affordable Care Act School-Based Health Centers Capital Program
The purpose of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) School-Based Health Centers Capital Program is to award funds that will support school-based health center efforts to expand capacity to provide primary healthcare services to school-aged children.
A total of $50 million is available for an estimated 1,000 awards. The average award size will be $50,000. Eligible organizations include school-based health centers or a sponsoring facility of a school-based health center. Sponsoring facilities include: hospitals, public health departments, community health centers, nonprofit health care agencies, schools or school systems, or a program administered by the Indian Health Service or the Bureau of Indian Affairs or operated by an Indian tribe or a tribal organization.
