Activating Empathy

The purpose of this funding is to support innovations that reflect the theme of the competition: Activating Empathy: Transforming Schools to Teach What Matters. Applicants should demonstrate implementation of solutions that enable children to be effective citizens, leaders, and changemakers by equipping them with the skills to understand the perspectives of others.
Multiple
prizes of $5,000-10,000 are available for select applicants. Teachers, principals, parents, students, or other innovators involved with a project, program, or new learning experience designed to advance empathy in education are eligible to apply.
Deadline: March 30, 2012
