Build-A-Bear Workshop Bear Hugs Foundation  – A Champion Fur Kids Grant

The Build-A-Bear Workshop Bear Hugs Foundation supports children in the areas of health and wellness such as childhood disease research foundations, child safety organizations, and organizations that serve children with special needs. Individual Project grants are for one-time purchases or to fulfill short-term needs while Organization Program grants fund start-up or operational costs for an ongoing program. Examples of Organization Program grants include funds for research and health and wellness education programs.

Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organizations, “not a private foundation,” within the meaning of Code Sections 509(a)(2), or a state college or university within the meaning of Code Section 511(a)(2)(B) (a “Public Charity”). Grants will be a one-time contribution ranging from $1,000 USD to $10,000 US, with an average of $1,500.
