Kaiser Permanente – 2009 Community Benefit Grant Program

Kaiser Permanente Santa Rosa is pleased to announce its 2009 Community Benefit Grant Program, which partners with community organizations and government agencies to address community health concerns. Kaiser Santa Rosa seeks applicants that share the same goals as Kaiser Permanente Marin / Sonoma Community Benefit Program:
• Promote improvement in children’s health status by addressing obesity through healthy eating an active living; improving oral health; reducing teen alcohol, drug and tobacco use; and reduction of perinatal substance use.
• Support Community Health Centers and other Safety Net providers of care for under and uninsured.
• Support programs that increase access to care and coverage, as well a supportive services, for vulnerable populations.
• Promote prevention services to improve the health and well being of people living in the community.

The Marin Sonoma Community Benefit Program is requesting that Letters of Interest be submitted from interested applicants. The range of grants will be between $5,000 and $20,000.

Deadline: Letter of Interest due February 24, 2009
