Rodale Institute -- 2007 Organic School Garden Awards

The Rodale Institute is accepting applications for its 2007 Organic School Garden Awards competition to improve student health and the health of the earth by supporting organic school gardens.

Award amounts are $1,000 for first place, $500 for second place, and $250 for third place. Eligible applicants are K-12 and home schools within the United States with twelve or more students working with the school’s organic garden who register for the contest online prior to submitting entries, and submit an 800-word essay and a poster presentation of the organic garden.

Deadline: October 31, 2007
